Our focus is on bringing you exceptional coffee stemming from exceptional grown coffee. At every step, we continuously strive to foster community, ensure social responsibility & minimize our environmental impact. This tradition starts with our family the Giraldo’s – which has been growing coffee in the mountains of Quindio, Colombia since 1963. We as a family and company work hard to treat everyone in our supply chain as part of our extended and ever-growing family. We hope you enjoy our coffee as much as we enjoy sharing it with you.

Owned by the Giraldo family since 1963, Finca El Danubio is a coffee farm committed to providing premium organic Speciality Colombian coffee to all gourmet coffee drinkers around the world. Our coffee varieties range from Caturra, Bourbon & Geisha.

Our Coffee plantations are grown organically using sustainable farming techniques, we hand-pick and cultivate our coffee in small batches to preserve the quality of each bean.

“We practice sustainable farming; we leave portions of our land as undisturbed forest to keep flowing water clean and our soil enriched with nutrients.”
Our coffee is shade grown, which protects the plants from direct sunlight, maintains soil health, and provides an important habitat for birds and insect life.

Our aim is to continue growing great coffee but also invest in the future of the Quindio, Colombian biodiversity, pure springs of glacier water and the well-being of the lovers of our coffee. Furthermore, as we locally grow and process our coffee, we contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases, and support numerous local charities including:

The Hogar San Mauricio Fundacion mission is to provide shelter, inspiration and an abundance of love to homeless children in Bogotá. This charity we support & now with every purchase you also will have the opportunity at checkout to give back and make a donation of your choice to help these less fortunate children.
